When it comes to the basics there are so many things to cover. Grip, stance, alignment, ball position just to name a few. One of the keys to the swing that I would like to discuss is the swing path coming down. There is something that a lot of high handicappers do that they need to fix.
Almost all good golfers swing on an inside path when they come through the ball. So the question is "How do we do this?" I have a few ideas that can get you started.
Try this drill. You pull back your right foot and then address the ball. hit shots from the position. You will feel the club come from the inside. Once you have done this several times go back to your regular set up and mimic the feel. This should help you turn the ball from right to left.
